If you have paid for improvements to your home but leave before you gain the full benefit of your investment you may be entitled to compensation. The scheme applies if you are a ‘secure qualifying tenant’. To qualify for compensation under the scheme, the improvement must be listed as an eligible item, as determined by the Department for Communities.
You must have received prior written approval from Apex for the works carried out and must have retained all invoices relating to the work. These invoices will be required to determine the amount of compensation payable. Please read more on how to get approval for tenant alterations/additions
